You can expect to receive your keys sometime after noon on the closing date. Once the closing funds have been delivered to the seller’s lawyer, we will promptly notify you. The seller’s lawyer will then instruct the listing Realtor to release the keys to your Realtor, who will make arrangements to meet with you and hand over the keys and possession of the property.
While we strive to ensure that the closing happens as scheduled, it is important to acknowledge that there can be unforeseen circumstances that may cause delays. Some factors, such as delays in receiving mortgage funds from your lender, are outside of our control and can impact the closing process and the timing of receiving your keys. In the event of any such delays, we will promptly inform you and keep you updated on the status of the closing and the expected receipt of your keys.
We understand that receiving the keys to your new property is an exciting milestone, and we will make every effort to ensure a smooth and timely transfer. Rest assured that we will communicate with all parties involved and keep you informed throughout the process.
